Case study · Etsy Meet the Sellers
For Etsy's Keep Commerce Human campaign, we developed and produced Meet the Sellers — films that take shoppers into the studios of the people who make what they buy.

Buyers: trailing 12 months, Q2 2026 shareholder letter. Sellers: Q1 2026. Instagram: October 2026.
The brief
As mass-produced and AI-made goods crowded online shopping, Etsy doubled down on what sets it apart: real people making real things. Its Keep Commerce Human campaign put that promise front and center.
Meet the Sellers brought it down to individual makers. Each film follows one seller through their craft — a furniture builder in the Bronx, two ceramicists, a jeweler, a polymer clay artist — so shoppers see exactly who they're buying from, and why it's worth it.

What we did
We took the series from concept through production and into the feed, with one team owning the story the whole way.

01
Shaped the series format: one maker, one craft, one honest story — built to show the human side of every Etsy order.

02
Ran the shoots in sellers' own workshops and studios — scheduling, crews and logistics — so each maker could simply do what they do best.

03
Hero films for YouTube, plus close-up process footage and stills that let the materials and hands carry the story.

04
Planned how each story lived across channels: long-form on YouTube, vertical cuts for Reels and Shorts, and a clear path to shop the seller.
